Commercial Real Estate Loan | aayahanolosha.net

Number of View: 18

Real estate Loan ? What commercial real estate lending to match the rates associated with residential real estate mortgage loan rates?
The typical Net Lease Financing is much larger than the typical residential property loan. The typical commercial real estate loan is about One dollar.5 million, as the typical home loan is only about $ 200,500. Therefore commercial real estate bank loan rates should be below residential real estate loan rates, right? In fact, the biggest in the field of corn flakes you buy the cheaper cost per cup.

Unfortunately, a commercial real estate mortgage is much less liquid than a home loan. Suppose you?re a bank with a lot of housing loans on their textbooks. Suddenly there is a run on the bank. No problem. You merely ship in a few files from home loans to Fannie Mae and offered at par (or perhaps better). Almost instantly you need to get your cash and your standard bank can meet the operate.

But there is no prepared secondary market for real estate loan. In sharpened contrast to a household real estate Commercial Home mortgages, all commercial real estate loan is different. The property differs from the others. A property can be a reel center, and the various other could be a self-storage facility. Each property has a different quality of the tenant. The actual strip center could have a AAA rating inside chain of booksellers as a tenant, whereas the ministorage could have a assortment of moms and continual organic pollutants as tenants.

But possibly that Amazon.internet is promoting the sequence bookstores out of business. Debatably, a collection of small mum and persistent natural pollutants is a secure tenant mix. However, Standard and Poor?s merely one type of business obligations like a AAA-quality investment if the company is very b financially. Normal and Poor?s, however, continues to be wrong from time to time during the past, so you really know? Consequently, it is the subjective dynamics of the commercial real estate loan that makes commercial real estate financial products in a manner a smaller amount liquid.

You can not lessen a Net Lease Financing to a single globally acceptable score.

Buddha statue: Possibly fake, still from space

Researchers who reported that a potentially ancient Buddha statue is carved from a meteorite said they are not surprised that an expert in Buddhist history believes the statue to be a fake.

"Honestly, that is what we expected," said Elmar Buchner, who along with his colleague reported on the statue in September in the journal Meteoritics & Planetary Science. "We heard so many opinions from so many experts in art history and experts for Buddhism on the origins and the age of the statue prior to and after the publication."

The most public of these consultations is a new report from Achim Bayer, a Buddhism expert at Dongguk University in South Korea. In a report released online, Bayer writes that the features of the statue are "pseudo-Tibetan" and are more likely to be a European reproduction dating from 1910 to 1970 than a true ancient carving dating back 1,000 years, as Buchner and his colleagues had estimated.

  1. Science news from NBCNews.com

    1. Scientists?pay tribute to?Lady Gaga with ferns

Science editor Alan Boyle's blog: Lady Gaga is already a huge name in the music world, but now she's a scientific name as well ? thanks to fans who named an entire genus of ferns after the pop star.

    2. Meet the rookies in the Robot Hall of Fame
    3. 'Space Buddha' statue may be a fake
    4. Scientists solve mystery of singing sands

Bayer did not contest that the statue is a made of meteorite.

"The non-Asian features of the 'lama wearing trousers' should be immediately obvious to any scholar in the field," Bayer wrote, referring to the statue as a "lama" or guru. The shoes, pants and sleeves of the man's garments are all wrong for ancient Tibet, he wrote. The statue's hands, eyes and ears are also shaped unusually for Tibetan art, he said.

The statue was said to have come to Germany in the possession of a pre-World War II scientific expedition commissioned by the Nazi party. Bayer called that into question, too, saying there is no documentation of the statue's transfer and arguing that it is more likely a fake created in the 20th century for the antique or Nazi-memorabilia market.

"For us, Bayer's hypothesis is just one opinion," Buchner wrote in an email to LiveScience. "However, we cannot decide whether this hypothesis is valid or not because we are not the experts in art history, and we told the press that our assumptions are speculative, accordingly," wrote Buchner, who is a geologist.

The geochemical analysis of the meteorite is still sound, Buchner said. The team found that the material used to make the statue is a rare type of iron- and nickel-rich meteorite from a meteorite fall along the Siberian-Tibetan border. [ Top 5 Weirdest Meteorites ]

That cosmic origin brings up one more mystery in the tale of the controversial space Buddha.

"I think it is not convincing that anybody took a very precious meteorite to produce a reproduction for the local antique market!?" Buchner wrote.

The citizens of Gaza have nowhere to run. Israeli F-16 warplanes flying over the Gaza Strip now.

(GAZA / SALEM) - The outcome of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip since last night until now is at three Palestinians killed and 8 wounded, including 3 in critical condition.

This needless aggression has continued since Tuesday night against the Gaza Strip, where Israeli warplanes fired artillery targeting its missiles at several areas.

This horror is going on at this time, against peaceful citizens in the Gaza Strip, creating a state of panic among the residents, especially the children.

They have enough martyrs. They are not looking for more. The 800,000 children that live in Gaza, or try to, are up against near certain peril, bestowed upon them by their occupiers.

As of just a few minutes ago, people in Gaza are reporting that Israel has closed all of the border crossings into Gaza "associated with the Israeli occupation and intended for the transport of goods" are now closed by the Israeli occupation.

No one getting in, no one getting out.

What's next? Only the Israeli government could know, since they call all the shots.

Many thanks to Shadi Zohod for the information used in this article.

What Kinds of Incorrect Method to Wash Hair

In usual life, everybody will wash your hair. However, whether the method to wash hair affects our health, I think that many people are not clear. Well, healthy experts remind everyone that if we often adopt incorrect method to wash hair, it not only will not reach the cleaning results, but also affects the health of scalp, hair root and hair follicles and so on. In the following, I will introduce three issues that you should pay attention to when you wash your hair.

?

First of all, you should not use the fingernail to scratch your head skin. After smear shampoo, many people are used to scratching the scalp with fingernails, because they think that doing so can clean the hair. In fact, doing so is very wrong; this is a misunderstanding of life. Because there are many bacteria in the nails, if you use hard fingernail to scratch delicate scalp, scalp is extremely vulnerable to injury, and it is also very likely to cause infection. However, the correct approach to wash hair is that after smear shampoo, you can use finger pulp to gently rub and push the scalp, which not only can achieve the effect of decontamination, but also plays the effect of blood circulation.

?

Second, you should not directly smear the conditioner at the hair root. Because the warm water will quickly open the hair follicles, this time, if you smear the conditioner at the hair root, the chemicals composition of hair conditioner can easily penetrate and clog hair follicles.

The common sense tell us that the correct way to wash hair is to first straighten the hair out, and then smear the conditioner along the ears to the tips of the hair ends, but do not let your hair conditioner run into the scalp, so as not to harm the health of the skin.

?

Third, whether are you used to washing hair directly without combing hair? Most of the people like to wash hair directly with no combing, which is a healthy misunderstanding. In fact, scalp is very important for hair. Before wash hair, using a comb to moisten your hair, the cleaning effect will be better. Because doing so makes the dust and dirt attached to the scalp float on the surface of the hair, it is very easy to clean. In order to avoid harming to the scalp, experts suggest that when you comb hair before washing, you had better choose wide comb.

Facebook posts 3Q loss, revenue jumps

NEW YORK (AP) ? Facebook's third-quarter results inched past Wall Street's expectations, offering evidence that the company is making inroads in mobile advertising ? a longtime concern among investors.

The financial results, Facebook's second as a public company, sent its stock sharply higher in after-hours trading. The stock jumped $1.90, or 9.7 percent, to $21.40 after the announcement. Facebook had closed up 18 cents at $19.50 in regular trading on a day that saw the Dow Jones Industrial Average drop 243 points, or 1.8 percent.

The world's biggest social media company posted a loss of $59 million, or 2 cents per share, in the July-September period. That's down from earnings of $227 million, or 10 cents per share a year ago, when Facebook was still privately held.

Excluding special items, mainly related stock compensation expenses, Facebook Inc. earned $311 million, or 12 cents per share, in the latest quarter, a penny better than what analysts were expecting.

Revenue rose 32 percent to $1.26 billion from $954 million.

Analysts had expected earnings of 11 cents per share on revenue of $1.23 billion, according to FactSet.

The company said 604 million of its 1.01 billion users access Facebook using a mobile device.

"People who use our mobile products are more engaged, and we believe we can increase engagement even further as we continue to introduce new products and improve our platform," said CEO Mark Zuckerberg in a statement. "At the same time, we are deeply integrating monetization into our product teams in order to build a stronger, more valuable company."

Advertising revenue was $1.09 billion, up 36 percent from a year earlier. It represented about 86 percent of Facebook's total revenue.

Revenue from payments and other fees climbed 13 percent to $176 million. This figure includes Facebook's cut from the virtual items people buy for games they pay on the site.

Facebook said it generated 14 percent of its advertising revenue from mobile ads during the quarter. That amounts to about $152.6 million.

Chief Financial Officer David Ebersman said Facebook had a "solid performance" in the third quarter.

Facebook did not provide guidance for the current quarter or beyond, a practice it has maintained since its first earnings report as a public company in late July.

Simple Advice For Being Your Own Handyman (or Handywoman ...

To achieve the most even look when installing vinyl tiles, start applying them from the midpoint of the room. To do this, measure the room at its widest points, marking the halfway point of each line. Using a chalk line to mark the intersecting points, you can begin your tile installation at the perpendicular junction point, spreading outward toward the edges of the room.

Design a renovation with an eye to creating built-in storage. For example, a broom closet can be reborn into a small pantry, or you can add floor-level shelving to a coat closest for shoes and bags. If you are renovating to sell a home, the benefit of the added storage can be the deciding factor in a buyer?s decision.

Keep your home smelling scented and fresh by making your own potpourri sachets. Buy some little jewelry organza bags and fill them with store bought potpourri. To boost the scent, pour some aromatherapy oils on top. Display them in different areas of your home to create a nice and scented environment.

If you live in an older house that has imperfections in the ceiling surface, you can camouflage them with the right lighting choice. Avoid lights that flood the ceiling surface with light, instead, choosing recessed can lighting or low-hanging pendant-style fixtures. These types of lighting do not direct light across the ceiling, which helps in hiding ripples, bulges or patched cracks.

Do not choose a contractor just because he is offering you much cheaper rates than everyone else. Sometimes that is a sign that he or she doubts the quality of their work and you should to. Always get a few estimates and make sure each of the these contractors gives you references.

If you are building your home or having it built, remember that you can customize in many little ways. One thing you might want to think about is putting your wall outlets higher than the standard foot from the floor. If you have them higher, it will be easier to plug things in without having to crawl around behind your furniture!

Spice up your mantelpiece by decorating it with similarly grouped items. Collect objects that are similar in nature such as wood items, only items with letters on them, items that are old fashioned or different sized decorative paper boxes. They create an interesting focal point near your fireplace and can prove to be conversation pieces.

A great way to save money is to look at different types of roof insulation for your next home improvement project. Various different types of insulation have been developed over the last few years that work even better than plain fiberglass insulation. A couple of examples are foam that covers the underside of the roof deck, and panels that are cut and laid out to reflect the heat before it even reaches your attic space.

Minor home improvement work can be handled by the homeowner without the need to involve a contractor. By making minor repairs and improvements a homeowner can improve the value of his or her home by a surprising amount. Relying on the homeowners own skills will make home improvements cheaper, because there is no profit cut out for extraneous contractors and experts.

If you have wood or faux-wood paneling in your home, consider refinishing it rather than getting rid of it in a renovation. Removing the old paneling requires having it hauled away, while new wall covering must be brought in. Wood paneling can be easily sanded down and the voids filled in with drywall compound.

Tame you clutter and label it practically for free. Sometimes we spend too much time thinking about organization and not enough time doing it. Go ahead, sort the jumble of clutter into free cardboard boxes and label the outsides with masking tape and an indelible marker. You can perfect it all later!

Consider installing eavestrough covers to keep leaves and other guck out of your water drainage system, preventing damage and flooding. A great product approved by Mike Holmes is Smart Screen Gutter Protection, which fits over existing eavestroughs so you don?t have to pay to have your entire drainage system replaced.

When cleaning your cabinets, a heavy build up of dirt and grease can be removed by using a commercial grade cleaner. A commercial cleaner with orange oil is designed for cleaning wooden cabinets. This type of commercial cleaner is great for removing large build ups of grease and improving the look of your cabinets.

Home improvement projects that involve changes to the plumbing can sometimes take unexpectedly longer. There are many instances where plumbing changes may require an extensive re-routing that was not identified during the planning phases. You can however plan for these uncertainties ahead of time by purchasing drinking water and making arrangements with neighbors to use their showers and toilets.

As revealed in the article, home improvement can be a good thing, but it can also have a downside. Some home improvements do not pay off and may even make your house harder to sell. By applying these simple rules of home improvement do?s and do-not?s, you can keep from making a disaster that you will be forced to live with.

Change, active civil society the keys to proserity - Orane - News - Go ...

Chairman of the GraceKennedy Group, Douglas Orane says creating prosperity in Jamaica can be achieved if everyone, including the country?s political leaders, embrace a culture of transformation.

Orane says breaking the paradigm of limited thinking, increased productivity and an active civil society should drive this transformation.

Speaking in New York last evening, he said Jamaica will have to confront what he called the three major binding constraints of a high crime rate, deficiency in human capital and short-term policies that are economically unstable in the long run.

Orane says removing these binding constraints will require the indomitable will of everyone to do what needs to be done.

The GraceKennedy chairman says it will also require a more active civil society that is prepared to take action to ensure a completely transparent policy framing process starting with how their tax dollars were spent.

Three Swing States Slightly Lean Towards Obama

The race for the presidency remains close in three swing states, though the four recently conducted polls show President Barack Obama with a slight lead in all polling.

Two polls for Nevada give the president a three-point advantage, but he's only one point ahead of former Governor Mitt Romney back east in New Hampshire and Wisconsin.

Here's a state-by-state look at the four newest polls.

Nevada

Rasmussen Reports and a Las Vegas Review-Journal/SurveyUSA poll agree in polling conducted before the debate. President Obama is ahead by three points. However, the one-day snapshot for Rasmussen suggests he win would 50 percent to 47 percent, while the LVRJ/SurveyUSA poll suggests a 48 percent to 45 percent result.

Rasmussen conducted their poll on Oct. 15, and with a plus or minus 4.5 percent margin of error, makes it clear that likely Nevada voters are within the margin of error for polling. However, Rasmussen also notes it is significant that this poll is the first time the president has polled at 50 percent with the firm since July.

Expanded poll results from the LVRJ/USASurvey suggests that Obama is favored 52 to 42 percent by female voters in Nevada, but that Romney is chosen by 49 percent of males as opposed to 44 percent for Obama. Obama has 54 percent of the 18 to 34 vote, the pair are nearly tied on 35 to 49 and 50 to 64, but for those over 65, Romney is winning 53 to 44 percent.

New Hampshire

Rasmussen Reports gives no clear picture for the election in New Hampshire, with 50 percent choosing Obama and 49 percent selecting Romney. With only 1 percent undecided, the state is a definite toss-up in the poll's view.

Wisconsin

Marquette University Law School conducted a poll between Oct. 11 and 14, and released it on Wednesday. Among the 96 percent of those polled who were registered to vote 49 percent chose to re-elect Obama. Forty-eight percent want a change and prefer Romney. Only 2 percent were undecided and 1 percent refused.

Google filing error shocks investors, exposes process flaws

By Dan Levine and Ryan Vlastelica

SAN FRANCISCO/NEW YORK (Reuters) - R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co handles thousands of securities filings a year for corporate clients in a routine process that is invisible to most investors. On Thursday Google and its shareholders found out just what happens when that process goes wrong.

Google issued a statement blaming Donnelley, its filing agent, after the Internet search company's quarterly results were released by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission hours ahead of schedule.

Earnings were far less than analysts expected and Google shares immediately plunged as much as 10.5 percent, knocking $26 billion off its market capitalization - the equivalent, as it happens, of about 13 R.R. Donnelleys.

It was quickly obvious that a mistake had been made -- the second paragraph of the filing said "PENDING LARRY QUOTE" instead of an actual quote from Google CEO Larry Page -- but it was not clear why.

Within minutes, though, an unknown prankster set up a "PendingLarry" Twitter feed to hypothesize what the missing quote might be. Among the highlights: "Man, our privacy was WAY violated today."

Donnelley shares lost more than 5 percent after Google started pointing the finger, though they recovered later in the day. The company did not respond to a call for comment, but issued a statement to CNBC in which it said it was investigating the circumstances of the release.

Best known as a provider of printing services, Donnelley is also the top SEC filing agent in the country, handling more than 75,000 submissions this year as of mid-October, according to SECInfo.com.

Filing agents like Donnelley take paper documents and convert them for submission to the SEC in the appropriate format. The company also owns the filing portal EDGAR Online.

WHO GOOFED?

It is far from the first time a company's earnings have somehow gotten out early.

In late 2010 and early 2011, inadvertent releases - usually by a misplaced release on a website - plagued companies like Walt Disney Co (NYS:DIS) and Microsoft Corp (NSQ:MSFT).

The common thread in all of those cases is that investors who are not in the right place at the right time to see the news may suffer for it.

"Some who didn't get a chance to sell will try to, and others will be looking for bargains. I'm sure a lot of Google owners were caught off guard," said Randy Frederick, managing director of active trading and derivatives for Charles Schwab in Austin, Texas.

After the first question of "who goofed?" was sorted out Thursday afternoon, the second one being asked by investors was "can we sue?"

"Everyone is trying to figure out if there's any legal issue with respect to R.R. Donnelley. Google is halted, Donnelley is down big-time on the news since they're allegedly not supposed to have released the information," said Michael Matousek, senior trader at U.S. Global Investors in San Antonio.

But one plaintiffs lawyer who sues companies on behalf of investors said shareholders would not have a claim against either Google or R.R. Donnelley because the earnings disclosure was likely a mistake.

"There's no fraudulent intent here," said Reed Kathrein with Hagens Berman.

R.R. Donnelley may not be entirely off the hook with Google, however. The company could have a negligence claim to recover any additional costs it incurred in responding to the incident, Kathrein said.

Any potential damages against R.R. Donnelley could be limited, though, by the contract between the two companies.

Late Thursday, Google filed an amended press release with the missing quote and a confirmation that the figures in the original were accurate.

R.R. Donnelley shares were up 2 cents at $10.87 in late trading. Google was down 8.1 percent to $693.94 after trading resumed.

Romney's top 5 campaign contributors | NOLA.com

This combo image of file photos shows biggest Republican presidential campaign donors, from left, Sheldon Adelson, owner of the Las Vegas Sands casino empire; Harold Simmons, owner of Contran Corp.; Bob J. Perry, head of a Houston real estate empire; Robert T. Rowling, head of Dallas-based TRT Holdings; and William Koch, an industrialist. (Photo by AP Photo/File)

WASHINGTON -- For a casino mogul worth an estimated $25 billion, $34.2 million may sound like chump change. Yet that's how much money Sheldon Adelson has donated so far to aid Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and organizations supporting Romney this election, making him the donor of donors for the GOP.

Other top donors giving millions of dollars to aid Romney's campaign include a trio of Texas money moguls and the head of a south Florida-based energy conglomerate. Those donors and others are funding a presidential election on track to cost nearly $2 billion, with money going toward individual Democratic and Republican campaigns as well as independent, "super" political committees working on the campaigns' behalf.

Political donations can open doors that are closed to most people. Big-dollar donors are often invited to state dinners at the White House and other events with the president. They also may be asked to weigh in on public policy, especially if it affects their own financial interests. And the ranks of ambassadors, advisory panels and other government jobs traditionally are filled with those who have been unusually generous during the campaign.

Based on an examination of more than 2.3 million campaign contributions -- the methodology is below -- The Associated Press has ranked the top five financial supporters bankrolling the Republican presidential run:

___

No. 1: Sheldon Adelson, 79, owner of the Las Vegas Sands casino empire.

Total: $34.2 million

Adelson is the largest declared donor to the Romney campaign and supporting political committees, providing more than $34.2 million this election season. He and his wife, Miriam, a physician who heads the Nevada-based Adelson Drug Clinic, have given $10 million to the Restore Our Future, a super PAC backing Romney. Adelson also joined relatives to give $24 million to committees backing former GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich. And he has made public pledges vowing to give $10 million to Karl Rove's American Crossroads super PAC and as much as $100 million this election more broadly to the GOP. Worth an estimated $25 billion, Adelson oversees the Las Vegas Sands Corp., which runs casino and resort interests in Las Vegas, Singapore and Bethlehem, Pa., and Sands China Ltd., a cluster of casinos in the Chinese territory of Macau. He would benefit from loosened trade restrictions and a rise in the Chinese currency rate against the dollar. His company devoted $60,000 this year to lobby on tax issues, foreign tourist visas, travel and Internet gambling issues -- and has spent $1.86 million lobbying on legislation dealing with China trade, gambling and travel since 2002. A staunch supporter of Israel, he also is a contributor to the Republican Jewish Coalition, which spent $920,000 since 2002 backing bills aimed at pressuring Iran and enhancing U.S. security cooperation with Israel. Adelson's casino company has advised shareholders that it was under investigation by the Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Investigators were said to be focusing on the Macau casinos and reports of missing money and possible violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

___

No. 2: Harold Simmons, 81, owner of Contran Corp., a Dallas-based conglomerate worth an estimated $9 billion that specializes in metals and chemical production and waste management.

Total: $16 million

Simmons is a longtime backer of GOP and conservative causes. He has donated $16 million to the party's efforts this year, including more than $11 million to American Crossroads and $800,000 to Restore Our Future. Simmons and his wife, Annette, also gave $2.2 million to Super PACs backing former GOP presidential candidates Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Rick Perry. Simmons has been active in political fundraising since the 1990s and in 2004 was a $4 million backer of the Swift Vets campaign, the GOP-backed effort to discredit Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry's military record in the Vietnam War. Simmons' Titanium Metals Corp. reportedly is a top producer of titanium for weapons and other industrial uses. He also owns a majority stake in Valhi Inc., a Texas-based waste management company, and could benefit from a proposed Nuclear Regulatory Commission rule change that would allow the company's Texas facility to store spent uranium from nuclear power and weapons plants. Contran's subsidiaries have spent $200,000 this year lobbying the NRC, Energy Department, the Senate and House on metals and waste issues, and $4.3 over the past decade, including efforts to protect a Pentagon rule limiting titanium purchases to U.S. producers. Simmons was fined $19,800 by the Federal Election Commission in 1993 for exceeding the then-annual $25,000 limit on individual campaign contributions, which has since been lowered.

___

No. 3: Bob J. Perry, 80, head of a Houston real estate empire worth an estimated $650 million.

Total: $15.3 million

Perry has given about $15.3 million to aid the Romney campaign and allied causes so far this election season. Long active in Texas and national GOP politics, Perry donated nearly $9 million to Restore Our Future and a total of $6.5 million to American Crossroads. Before backing Romney this year, Perry gave $100,000 to the super PAC backing Texas Gov. Rick Perry (no relation). Bob Perry has been a fixture of GOP fundraising in Texas and nationally dating back to former President George W. Bush's Texas gubernatorial races in the mid-1990s. Perry was a top Bush presidential "bundler" and also gave big to the Swift Vets and POWs for Truth campaign in 2004, donating $4.4 million to the effort to discredit Kerry.

___

No. 4: Robert Rowling, 58, head of Dallas-based TRT Holdings.

Total: $4.1 million

Rowling has given at least $4.1 million to Republican Party and candidates this election. Most of his donations, $4 million, went to Rove's American Crossroads, both through personal donations and through his firm. Rowling also has given $100,000 to the pro-Romney Restore Our Future super PAC. Rowling's holdings are worth an estimated $4.8 billion and include Omni Hotels, Gold's Gym and Tana Exploration, his family's oil company. Rowling once told the Texas Tribune he prefers political donations to lobbying efforts. Rowling has been a big donor in Texas political circles, winning a role for Omni as operator of Dallas' convention center hotel after a 2009 city referendum fight.

___

No. 5: William Koch, 72, an industrialist whose South Florida-based energy and mining conglomerate is worth an estimated $4 billion.

Total: $3 million

Koch has given $3 million to the Restore Our Future, including a $250,000 personal donation and $2.75 million through his corporation, Oxbow Carbon LLC, and a subsidiary, Huron Carbon. Unlike his brothers, Charles and David Koch, who are longtime supporters of Republican and conservative causes, Bill Koch has funded both GOP and Democratic Party candidates in the past. Koch's corporate interests have repeatedly battled against what company officials have decried as government interference. Oxbow spent $570,000 last year on lobbying in Washington, mostly aimed at mining, safety issues and climate change. The company has complained in federal filings about government delays on permits and has raised concerns about administration changes in regulations that would aid collective bargaining. Koch also has pushed for approval of the Central Rockies Land Exchange, a proposed swap of land tracts in Colorado and Utah to enlarge his 4,500-acre Bear Ranch. The proposal, which requires congressional approval, has sparked local opposition.

___

METHODOLOGY

These rankings by The Associated Press, based on campaign financial reports submitted to the Federal Election Commission, include contributions to super PACs, presidential campaigns, political parties and joint-fundraising committees. Federal law limits maximum contributions to campaigns, parties and affiliated committees, but federal court rulings have stripped away such limits to super PACs. This analysis excludes secret-but-legal contributions that might have been made to nonprofit groups, which can pay for so-called issue ads that don't explicitly advocate for or against a candidate. Such groups are not required to identify their donors.

Where available, the analysis considered donations "bundled," or raised, from other wealthy donors for Romney and President Barack Obama. Obama periodically identifies his bundlers, although Romney has resisted calls to do the same.

Israeli air strike in Gaza kills Palestinian militant

Gaza (Reuters) - An Israeli air strike in Gaza killed a Palestinian gunman and wounded another on Sunday, hospital officials said, hours after Israel killed the leader of an al Qaeda-linked militant group.

An Israeli military spokesman said the men targeted had been preparing to fire rockets into Israel.

The air strike, which targeted a motorcycle in southern Gaza, came hours after Israel killed two other militants in a similar attack late on Saturday.

Both Hamas, the Islamist group that rules Gaza, and Israel identified one of the men killed in the earlier attack as Salafi jihadist Hisham Al-Saedni.

Hamas said Saedni had headed Tawhid and Jihad (One God and Holy War), a group with an Islamist ideology shared by al Qaeda, while the Israeli military said he had helped found a kindred militant Salafi movement, the Hashura Council of the Mujahideen.

Saedni had recently been planning a attack that would be carried out in the neighbouring Egyptian Sinai, the Israeli military said in a statement. The desert peninsula has seen a surge of Islamist militant activity during the political upheaval rocking Cairo since early 2011.

A number of Jihadist Salafi groups have surfaced in Gaza in recent years. Unlike Hamas, they endorse an ideology of global Jihad and some accuse Hamas of failing to implement Islamic laws in the coastal enclave.

Hamas rejects permanent peace with Israel and the two sides fought a three-week war from December 2008 into January 2009. The border is tense with frequent clashes. About 40 rockets have been fired from Gaza into Israel in October.

Israel says it holds Hamas responsible for any attacks launched from Gaza, which has been under the group's control since 2007.

First Web-Based Point of Sale System Launch in Singapore - SBWire

Nanyang, Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/14/2012 -- Inspirepos is the first online web based point of sale system in Singapore, targeting retailers since 2011. In contrary to many who still opts for traditional point of sale (POS) systems, an online point of sale system, often running in web based browsers, is the next generation point of sale application.

Some of the key differentiators of Inspirepos?s Web-based point of sale (POS) system includes:

Manage From Anywhere in Real Time
Allows business owners to work from the comfort of home and yet have a real time view over sales reports real-time, across all outlets. An online based system allows him to manage business operations from anywhere and equips him with information that was not possible with a traditional system.

Real Time Stock Management - Improved Stock Control
The real time stock changes update equates to less frequent stock out scenarios. As stock level drops to a certain amount, the shop manager will be alerted to restock. It allows a better forecast over stock movement.

Hard disk or PC failures scenarios
In the event of a hard disk crash or PC failure, another laptop or PC can quickly be used to replace, as long as it is installed with an updated browser. Compared to a traditional POS system, the downtime will be longer and there is a possibility of loss data.

Constant software update
Traditional point of sale system (POS), once purchased becomes unmaintained and buggy. Annual maintenance fees are not justifiable and high. It can cause inefficiencies to business operation. Inspirepos?s online point of sale system stays updated and updates is almost seamless and unnoticeable.

Secure and Confidential Data
Inspirepos online POS software are backed with the same security and encryption system adopted by most banks that can protect sales and other data from potential hackers.

It allows businesses to grow dramatically, boost sales and prevent customers from walking out, and also to analyze sales and manage sales inventory more efficiently.

Better Customer Service
With up-to-date sales and stock numbers always at fingertips, customer interaction becomes much more informed. Integrated stock control means less stock outs, avoiding customer disappointment that can have a hugely negative effect on return business and word-of-mouth recommendation.

If an item is out of stock, the shop keeper can check whether a nearby store has the item in stock. Stock counts and manual adjustments can also be performed in store in real time, so a returned product can be available for sale to another customer immediately. The revised stock level is visible in all connected stores as soon as any change is made.
